Accessibility Statement
We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to browse this website comfortably, learn about the villas and contact us. The site was built with a commitment to equality and dignity, in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.
Conformance level
The website has been adapted to Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, at level AA.
Adjustments made
- A consistent page structure with hierarchical headings, labelled navigation regions and a "Skip to main content" link.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Alternative text for images, and clear labels for every form field, including written error messages.
- Sufficient colour contrast, and text that can be enlarged in the browser up to 200% without loss of content.
- Support for mobile and desktop, for right-to-left Hebrew and left-to-right English.
- A button to pause the opening video, and respect for the operating system's "reduce motion" setting.
- An accessibility menu (the "Accessibility" button) offering larger and smaller text, high contrast, highlighted links, a readable font and stopped animations.
The site has been checked in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on desktop and mobile.
Accessibility of the villas
Both villas, Kinneret House and Dream House, are wheelchair accessible. If you have a specific need, such as information about door widths, showers or parking, contact us before your stay and we will give you exact details and help with arrangements.
Limitations
We make every effort to keep all pages accessible. Some content, such as the villa video, which has Hebrew text inside the picture, or links to external services (Google Maps, Waze, WhatsApp), may not be fully accessible. If you run into a problem, please tell us so we can fix it.
